Today our adventure was a rollercoaster of emotions. Determined to be the epitome of kindness, I tried my best to channel my inner saint. Rick, on the other hand, must have been feeling the post-holiday blues, navigating the relentless stop-and-go traffic like a grumpy GPS.
As we meandered through charming little towns, it became painfully clear that our timing was impeccable—for missing every decent restaurant. With New Year's Eve upon us, we decided to treat ourselves to dinner. Alas, the universe had other plans. After a long search, we stumbled upon Lindy's Chicken, a hidden gem that was more "hidden" than "gem." The food was tasty but the place wasn't so clean. In true camper fashion, we wrapped up our feast and retreated to our trusty mobile abode.
Our rest stop near Tallahassee, FL was like a diesel symphony, with the trucks providing a relentless lullaby that kept us wide awake. As we lay there, I couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all. Here's to more delightful chaos and unexpected adventures. Every day is a gift from God! Enjoy it!
